With the onset of Facebook going public and wanting desperately to increase ad revenue, they have seemed to put above all else, tactics to increase that said revenue.
Facebook has implemented steps to force Pages such as Dondoesdeals to pay unheard of amounts of money for these very posts that are beneficial to everybody including our loyal fans. These fees that Facebook is charging are PER POST , YES, they want a fee paid in advance of every post in order to just hang onto the fans we have built online relationships with.
HERE is a simple workaround you can use to get your favorite coupon blogs and other Pages back into your Facebook News Feed.
- Open up the Facebook Page you want to see in your News Feed
- Hover your mouse over the Liked button at the top of the page. Be sure not to click on the Liked button, or you will un-like the page by accident!
- You should see a drop-down menu open up, like in the photo above. Click on 'Show in News Feed'. This lets Facebook know that you're interested in further interaction with that particular Page.
You still might not get every posting
or deal delivered to your News Feed, so your best bet is to continue
liking and commenting on posts as well, so Facebook knows that seeing
updates from DDD - Dondoesdeals or other Pages is a priority for you.
I'D love to hear the tips and tricks you might be using to stay connected with your favorite sites.
